KBC are pleased and proud to announce the booking of the Top Topham/John Idan Band for the gig on 21st May 2010.  Many of you will know that Top was the original guitarist with the Yardbirds and, to square the circle rather neatly, John has just left the band having originally joined them in 1994. On Thursday 10th December there will be A Grand Christmas Cracker Starring 'Fred The Oyster' plus 'The Fables' and a rare acoustic performance from Keighley & 'Hush' legend Don Gaudiosi at The Gassienda (New Variety Club, Russell Street, Keighley).  Tickets (£5) from our very own Stuart 'Sound Desk' Marshall who will have some with him for you to purchase at the Little Stevie gig on 27th November.  Click this link to visit Fred The Oyster's website for sounds and vision. KBC can exclusively reveal that Michael Messer, who starred on the International Stage at this year's Colne Festival, will perform at the Club on January 29th 2010.  Michael is ranked with Duane Allman and Ry Cooder as one of the top 3 slide guitarists of all time in the world!  Proof yet again of KBC punching above its weight.

Dani & Will Double Header Booked

Sensational news!  Emails and phonecalls have been pouring in from blues fans who saw the brilliant performance of Dani Wilde on 27th February demanding we book her again.  Well, we've gone one better than that - The Dani Wilde Band will perform in a 'double headlining' concert with Will 'Harmonica' Wilde and the Neptune Blues Band on Friday 26th March 2010.  Make a date in your diary now!

The Martin Harley Band gig on 31st July has been cancelled because the drummer is being the Best Man at a wedding that weekend. To fill the vacancy, negotiations with a top act are at an advanced stage.  AN ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE MADE IMMINENTLY!

KBC Receives Grant From Bradford Council

Keighley Area Panel, the local arm of Bradford Council, has awarded Keighley Blues Club a £500 grant to help with our charitable community fund raising and to assist in providing tickets to local good causes.  So far this season KBC has raised more than £800 for Keighley & Craven People First Group and given tickets to Manorlands and Andrea's Gift charities.

Keighley Blues Club Secures Accommodation Sponsor

We are pleased to announce that an agreement has been secured with The Dalesgate Hotel & Restaurant, at Utley, Keighley to provide bed & breakfast accommodation for acts visiting the Club.

It's official!  Keighley Blues Club will be relocating to Cougar Park, the home of Keighley Cougars Rugby League team.

The first gig at the new venue will be the Little Stevie & The Business (support: Late Night Call) concert on 9th January 2009.

Martin Harley Band to guest on Johnnie Walker's Radio Two show this Sunday 9th November 4.30-6.30pm

It took a lot of hard work over many months to get this band to agree to come to KBC (31st July 2009).  We know they're going to be very big, and now it seems Johnnie Walker thinks the same as us at KBC Towers.  Remember, the Johnnie Walker show is a mainstream BBC radio show on the country's most popular radio station - a step up from the 'specialist' blues programme presented by the admirable Paul Jones.  Tune in and see what all the fuss is about.
