SOUND SYSTEM

The in house system consists of the following

FOH - 4no Turbomax 18" subs - 800watt AES each
        - 4no Turbomax 12" mid/tops - 450watt AES each
Monitors - 2 Dynacord AM 12 (active) feeding 2 JBL 12" monitors
+ 2 no DAS 15" active monitors. 2 way monitor system is usual but 3 way ie for the drummer is ok.
FOH amps - 3 Yamaha P7000's
DBX driverack controller
Allen & Heath PA 20 - 20 channel mixing desk.
Vocal mics - SM58's
Instrument mics - SM 57's (brass instruments - either depending on need)
All drums miked + 2 Rode condensor overheads
Booked artistes with PA requirements additional to the above should contact Stuart one month prior to the gig.
Booked artistes bringing their own mics/stands etc, especially radio and ear monitoring systems should also contact Stuart as above.
A stage layout plan should be supplied (including number of rack toms) so that the stage is ready for when the artistes arrive for sound check.
Sound check is at 1800hrs unless previously discussed and agreed. Artistes should aim to arrive at 1730hrs.

There will usually be a support act who will require a sound check. Sharing of main act's drum kit apart from breakables is positively encouraged!!!! If this is a problem please contact Stuart.

Recording of the gig is also possible with artiste's agreement. A cd will be produced for the artiste - no charge for this service and definitely no guarantees as to the quality of the recording!!!!

The Club's resident photographer is the renowned Idris Richards whose images are published by many of the top blues publications.  They can also be found on countless blues based websites.  His photographs are regularly published in "Blues in Britain", Blues and Rhythm" and "Juke Blues" UK magazines and also in the Austrian and French media. In 2008 the Mississippi Valley Blues Society, USA, used some of his photos in their publicity.
Idris has for several years been an accredited photographer for the Burnley Blues Festival, Colne Festival and Maryport Festival amongst others.
